Privacy Policy

DriftAware is built for awareness, not surveillance. This page lists every piece of data the service handles.

What stays on your device

Your hour-grid schedule, day preferences, time format, sound, and first-day-of-week are stored locally on your device. None of this leaves your device.

iCloud sync

If you are signed into iCloud and have iCloud Drive enabled for DriftAware, your events and preferences sync between your devices through your personal iCloud private database. Apple manages this storage entirely; DriftAware has no access to it. Disabling iCloud for DriftAware in iOS Settings stops the sync without removing local data.

What is sent to our backend

Only one thing: an APNs device token issued by Apple. This is an opaque identifier Apple provides for delivering push notifications to your device. We use it solely to send a periodic silent push that keeps your local notification schedule healthy when iOS background refresh is suppressed.

Where the token is stored

Cloudflare Workers KV, a key-value store hosted on Cloudflare's edge. The token is the only field stored against itself; we do not link it to your name, email, contacts, location, or any other identifier.

What we do not collect

No analytics, no advertising SDKs, no third-party trackers, no contact list, no location, no microphone or camera access, no IP address aggregation. The only place we look at an IP address is during the brief rate-limiting check on token registration; we never store it. Cloudflare's standard request logs apply (≤24h retention, no profile building).

Data deletion

When you uninstall DriftAware, Apple's notification service signals our backend the next time we attempt a push, and the token is removed automatically. There is no manual sign-up or sign-out flow.
